In 2021 TV Norway and iMatrics started a project to explore the possibility of automatically tagging video content that has been transcribed (speech to text). A successful project could make video and audio content more searchable, get analytical insights and enable conversational targeting (matching conversations/content with ads).
During the project, we have seen fascinating and promising results, that Are Tverberg, tech lead at TV2 Norway, and Christoffer Krona, CTO iMatrics, present at the next EBU MDN (Metadata Developer Network) 1:st of June this year.
Apart from being very proud to have the possibility to present together with Are, we also saw a great interest in the project and its potential for the media industry.
